Cowboy Day

1st grade has been learning all about Cowboys!  On Monday they celebrated with Cowboy Day out at the Bowman’s farm.  Even though it was a little rainy, students had a great time riding tractors, feeding horses, eating lunch in the barn, and playing with the other farm animals.  Before they left, students drew a picture of a horse and wrote a story from the horses point of view.   Stop by the 1st grade classroom to read their horse stories!  Next in their Adventure Unit in phonics 1st grade will be studying about the weather, then end their Adventure Unit with the Circus. . . . stayed tuned!
